Are we doing this or what?! Seems like thanks to the time and days in the counseling center, we were able to let all of this off our adolescent chests. Thank you Nikka, for everything you’ve done. Also, anyone who’s following us or reading this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We breathe in the autumn air and let go of our thoughts. One of our favorite times of the year. We live for the rush of the Zipper and the way our hearts race against our chests. We know the rides are mostly worth the wait in the long lines. These few days make our heart heavy and light. Drama isn’t the issue. We see familiar faces and faces we’ve yet to meet. Although, classified as somewhat.. ghetto, we all know in our hearts and minds watching the parade or hanging out the carnival is definitely worth it. Whether you’re there with your family, for the corndogs, buying a bird, misplacing your camera, or just hanging out—live in the moment.

P.S. if you find a Canon Powershot A590 please return it to Nikka Conte.

Was not the greatest. We’d appreciate it if you didn’t throw the fliers on the ground. If you weren’t going to keep them, you could’ve handed them back or RECYCLED them. Seriously, ignorance is not bliss. We worked hard on designing and printing them out.

Also, I (Nikka) think we should design and hand out new fliers every two or three weeks—on Fridays. But we’d have to see about who can take them to kinko’s and print about 200-500 out.

Other news—thank you so much to everyone who actually READ the fliers instead of looking at them and saying “cool” and walking away. We appreciate every one of you. And thank you to the teachers who posted fliers in their rooms. We hope that WATF will develop and grow in the next few months.

First official meeting should probably either be on Newark Days or Nikka’s birthday. You decide.

If you’re wondering, you do not have to be a team member to actually be a part of the movement. Team members are the people who plan out what we’re going to do to help out. Team members are people that we know will dedicate some of their time to WATF, and will come through as soon as they can. We will not allow people who know nothing of morals into our team. With this stated, mischief managed ;]

By the way, if you REALLY want to be a part of the WATF Team then just notify any of us. Remember, this is not just about our personal opinions or happenings with you, it is about your actual personality and who you are, we will not relate our decisions on what we think of you, or what we’ve heard. We will see for ourselves.

I realized before we have a group meeting, there should actually be a group.

So far the official members are Nikka, Brennan, and David.

This upcoming school week I (Nikka) think we should ask a few (about 3 or 4) people if they’d like to join our little army of love. We’re only accepting 8 people other than Nikka, Brennan, and David. There are a few rules. These following rules do not include the rules to this tumblr and the myspace account/profile.

WATF Team Rules:

1. Stay as positive as possible. Don’t be a Negative Nelly.
2. No sh_t talkers. We all understand that we’re all young and become a little heated once in a while. But that’s just not going to go if you’re going to start making negative comments and statements during meetings.
3. Must be capable of coming to meetings.
4. Do not discriminate. Let others speak their mind. If you don’t agree simply state your opinion. I repeat—don’t be a negative Nelly!
5. There is no age limit, as long as you are capable of being mature when you need to be.
6. HAVE FUN. I’m pretty sure most of the 8th graders want an awesome, drama-free, epic, memorable year. Let’s provide that.
7. Try to keep a minimum on cussing, or atleast when you know a certain person is not comfortable with foul language. Accepted only if you have medical problems.
8. Must type like a normal human. Do not type like a robot. [E.G. i Lyk 2 p4r+y!!!1!]
9. Must be willing to support WATF and spread the word with PRIDE.
10. Be yourself. No restrictions. We are an army of love.
